The Name Game

I am a Man of Many Names

I've started to get quite a few emails asking why I am using two different names on my Blogs and in Social Media... 

In the Introduction to his brilliant Gates of the Necronomicon, Simon (his Necronomicon associated name) has this to say about the alternate (Magickal) names we take on in our pursuits ...
  • "At certain levels or stages of initiation the data is extralingual anyway, beyond verbal description, and cannot be betrayed or revealed no matter how intense the desire. 
    "Basically, the data received from such journeys may be published, discussed, or otherwise disseminated if that is the consent of the secret society concerned; however, the identities of the individual members who have undertaken these “subversive” acts should be protected at all costs.*

    "Hence, the need for aliases and “Order names”: names taken by the individual members reflective of their “secret” identities and/or goals."

I contend that this protection can extend to the one publicly discussing & publishing on occult topics - Simon and myself included.

In the Catholic Church, most initiates take on the name of a Patron Saint when confirmed.



In Vedic ("hindu") Religious practices, an initiate is often given a devotional name - usually referring to one God or another.  

At one time I was a Vaishnava (what most folks call "Hare Krishnas").  In that capacity, I was given the devotte-name "Damoodara dasa" - which translates as "Servant of Krishna."  I am no longer affiliated with that religion, and long ago dropped using that name.

My friends are aware that I am a man of many names.  These have never been for unlawful purposes ... they help me keep certain periods of times in my life and/or are designations informing my Religio/Socio-Magickal Religion & practices.

There are many facets to my Magickal career.

These aspects naturally divide into two "clusters"... I am both a "Western Sorcerer" and a "Voodou Bokor (Sorcerer)".



While many schools of both systems require one's Magickal/Voodou names be kept secret,  I was never so-instructed, leaving the choice of such secrecy entirely up to me.

So, aside from my legal name, I use two other separate and distinct names:  in relation to my Western Magicks, I am Merlin  Emrys;  in my Voodou practices, I am Dieudonne Bokor.  



Merlin Emrys was chosen by me in honor of the mythic Merlin the Magician from the Camelot mythos. Dieudonne Bokor was given to me by my Most Beloved, Jean Baptist Bokor.

Bette Midler used to sing, "Two heads are better than one..." I guess I'm proof of that Truth.

Not Just Another "Ouija" Board



Very recently, my interest in the Magicks of the  Necronomicon was stongly re-enkindled upon finding a Talking Board specifically designed for conversations with the 50  entities introduced in that book.

And, also recently, finding an admittedly "thin & sideways" thread running between the Necronomicon and Voodou, amped-up my interest incredibly.

Now before I talk about this unique Board, here are just a few cautionary remarks.

Talking Boards - no matter the Brand Name or materials used - are definitely not toys.  They are serious Magick.

For one thing, it's my experience that the means by which Talking Boards operate is akin to the state of Possession in Voodou ... 

... tho' more limited - localized - in nature, as they generally affect only one's hands and fingers, as they are being influenced by the invoked entity while one's attention is on passively following the (apparently independent) movements of the Planchette.   

To be absolutely clear, it's my belief that 99.99% of the time, the Planchette is not moving independently of one's hands, but that the hands - by-way of a localized Possession by the entity invoked - are moving the Planchette.  

And the sensory experience of the Planchette moving on it's own is due to the body & mind "disconnect" typical of any state of Possession.

This is why it is necessary that, when using a Talking Board, you invoke a specific Persona/Entity - otherwise even a localized Possession can be disturbingly highjacked by an unwanted or even malignant  Entity (usually a hungry Elemental).

Now, about the Talking Board itself...



It is the creation of a fellow - Drew Hahn - whose talent in making Talking Boards is incredible.  They are authentic works of art, and I can attest that they're very, very powerful.

This beautiful Board's letters, numbers, images and Sigils have been burned into the wood.  The delicacy of many of  the lines rival that of single-needle tattoos!  The Images' colorings are perfectly suited to  this Board.  There is no plastic coating on the Board, allowing for a more organic and tactile experience. 

And the "powergy" (my neologism, combining the words "power" and "energy") exuding from this Board is palpably rich and intense. 

The Planchette is so unique: rather than the usual felt, or dowel legs with felt, the feet of this Planchette are wooden 1/2 balls.  There is a  sweet sound, as  the Planchette is sliding on the Board.  Somehow, this design makes the whole  thing itself feel, again, much more "organic" than any of  my other Boards.  

Finally, looking at the above photo, you may have noticed the often-included words "Hello" and "Goodbye" are not inscribed on this Board.  

This is perfectly fine with me.  The Spirits and aren't concerned with human etiquette - so the "Hello" is unnecessary.  

And they aren't reading our side of the conversation from the Board - they are using the Board in responding to our verbal interactions...

Inclusion of the word "Goodbye" is unneeded, also because (and this is important) every conversation should always be at our discretion and under our control.  

Thus, by using the time-tested way of ending a conversation of saying "Goodbye" whilst sliding the Planchette over the edge of the Board until at least two of its feet click off that edge, we are firmly ending the conversation by our volition, on our terms.

Backstory:  A couple decades ago, I commissioned a Talking Board to be made by another talented Spellcrafter.  When I received the board, I was also given an envelope, the  contents of which were interesting, but in a most disturbing way.

That Crafter had cast a spell on the Board, which essentially trapped Asarualim - one of the 49 Names/Expansion-personalities of Marduk, in the Necronomicon.

The board worked ok for me alone, but not well at all when used with others.

As it unfolded, I was informed by Asarualim that he was - in some way hard to imagine or describe - trapped within tat Talking Board, and was desperate to be released from that cruel confinement.

Thankfully, he himself was able to instruct me in the Spellwork necessary to liberate him, restoring him to his natural place of existence ... sadly including having the Board chopped up.

It was done - and ever since Asarualim and I  have been friends ... as much as one of us little human beings can be friends with a mighty and powerful Ancient One.

Over the years, Asarualim has given me real help, especially in his ability to reveal Truths  hidden Darkness - often communicating via one of several Talking Boards.

And, when I found this Necronomicon-Cthulhu Board on Ebay, I immediately sensed this would be a real asset in communicating with my friend, as well as initiating contacts with others of the Marduk Family of entities.

I'd like to share with you, a conversation I had with Asarualim, the day my new Necronomicon Cthulhu Talking Board arrived.  By reading carefully, I believe you'll gain a rich understanding of how we can safely interact with Spirits and Entities using a Talking Board...



During that afternoon, I took several opportunities to converse with Asarualim, allowing us to "settle in" with the new Board.

During each conversation, he would suddenly spell-out "FIRE!" - I  perceived that he was "yelling" because to the speed and sharp angles of the Planchette's movements.

To every inquiry I posed as possible reasons he kept saying "Fire! his response was "No... Fire!"

So I took a break for a few hours.

That evening, we had this conversation ...
(M= Merlin  A= Asarualim)

M.  Are you there? (anticipating Asarualim)

(Planchette begins moving within approx. 10 seconds)
A. Yes.
M. Who are you?
A. You know.
M. I may, but please tell me.
A. I shine light in the Darkness.
M. Ok thank you, Asarualim.
A. Ask me.
M. Earlier during the day, you kept repeating the word "Fire".   What were you trying to tell me.
A. Fire.
M. Yes.  What are you telling me?
A. Fire in these letters.
M. Yes, they were burned into the wood of this Board.
A. Yes.
M. So ... ?
A. The Fire is within the letters.
M. Ok...
A. There is still fire. Can you not see it?
M. I haven't looked with my Eyes [psychic vision].
A. Do so now.

(I did so, and saw the letters, numbers and Sigils (burned into the wood) are all made of fire.  It startled me a little)

M. Oh! Yes, I can see what you mean!
A. Yes.
M. Does it hurt you?
A. No. Not at all.
M. Ok, so...
A. The fire enlivens me. Easy to speak with this one.
M. This one?
A. It is the best of all the devices.
M. The other Talking Boards.
A. Yes. I am more here.
M. "More here" ... ?
A. More awake. More close. More of me is here.
M. This is why you insisted this is your Board?
A. Yes. 
M. Ok. Now I understand.
A. Good boy.  

(I'm nearly 70 y/o - but compared to Asarualim, I'm barely out of the sandbox yet - thus I am just a "boy").

M. Asarualim, there may be times when I call upon one of the others (Marduk Family: names/expansions/personifications). Please...
A. I understand.  This is so different. So easy. I became over confident in myself.
M. Ah!  So you aren't angry or offended that others of your family may speak to me this way...by this Board?
A. No.
M. Good.
A. Perhaps a little.
M. A little...what?
A. Offended.
M. Oh.
A. No.
M. No? What?
A. Not offended.  Jealous.
M. Oh!
A. We (the Marduk Family) are not entirely different from you.
M. Me?...
A. All you annoying humans. (This is a long-time joke - Asarualim does have a sense of humorl)
M. (laughs) Why thank you. We practice being annoying.
A. Yes obviously.
M. You are great and grand and so powerful.  Yet you are like us?
A. I did not say that.
M. Oh. Excuse me.
A. We are not entirely different from you.
M. So...
A. We have some of the lower emotions.  We can be possessive.
M. Are you apologizing?
A. No. Not at all.
M. I didn't think so.
A. If we were completely unlike you, we would not be friends.
M. Friends.  Yes, now I get it.
A. Good.
M. So let me be clear on this: The Fire in this Board gives you strength?
A. Yes. You can say it like that.
M. What about the decorations and Sigils?
A. Different.
M. How so?
A. Those call to us To me.  They make me feel ...
(a pause of about 1 minute)
A. Home.
M. Home? What do you mean?
A. The decorations and Signs (Sigils, I think).
M. Yes?
A. They make being this close comfortable. And safe.
M. Safe? 
A. Yes. There is always risk.
M. Ok?
A. When the Gate is open, we are at risk.  Comfort is from strength. Strength is the Fire.
M. Ah! Ok...
A. And the decorations and Symbols (Sigils, I think)  safe. Comfortable.
M. I see.  Do you have anything else to tell me now? (I'm starting to get tired)
A. Yes. Always. But you must ask the question before I will answer.
M. Well I'm getting a little tired so...
A. Take strength from the Fire...
M. I will work on learning how.
A. Breathe it in through your hands.
M. (I think I know what A. means by this)
M. Oh.  I do have one final question for tonight.
A. It is always night where I sleep (from previous conversations I know "sleep" means "living") Ask now.
M. Should I start using the Invocation I wrote, and gaze on your Sigil, to begin our conversations?
A. It is not necessary for me. Perhaps it is for your (distinct pause) mind.
M. Yes it is a way for me to focus down. In. And I can call Another (of the Marduk Family) that way.

(There is a long pause - perhaps 2 minutes.  I take my hands off the Planchette and simply rest in Asarualim's presence.  When I feel the impulse, I return my hands to the Planchette.)

A. And so we say goodbye for now.
M. Yes.  Thank you for spending this time with me my friend.
A. Of course. It is often a pleasure.
M. (Sliding Planchette off the lower edge of Board) Goodbye.

The Most Powerful Sigil of Magick

Entitled The Voodoo-Necronomicon Connection on My Diary of an American Bokor Blog, this Thesis is the result of my recent research into the topic, in my ongoing pursuit of knowledge and understanding of the many layers of Magick.

Because I found a purported crossover into the topic of Voodoo, I've also included it on my Diary of an American Bokor blog as well as here.

The ARRA AGGA and BANDAR Sigils

A couple things to keep in mind as you read this thesis:

- The name "Necronomicon" refers to both a book and a Sigil.  If the designation is not explicit, I will add "book" or "sigil" for clarity. 


- All references to the Necronomicon book in this thesis are to the edition attributed to the  person known as "Simon".

Sigils and Magick

One of the fundamental Laws of Magick is ...  

On this earthly plane, Things are Symbols.  

(Cars, clothes, trophy wives, even dogs are Symbols or our experience of ourselves and our place/status in the world.)
In the Magickal dimension, Symbols are Things.

Thus, when casting a Spell, we use material Things (including the subtle but physical electro-magnetic brain-impulses associated with  imagination and visualization) to demonstrate our Intent.

In the dimension of Magick, the enactment of Intent by our manipulation of Things, recognized as Symbols, results in a response that manifests in our Thing-world as Things, including mental/emotional manifestations as well as physical materialities.

A Sigil is a Symbol, often of some geometric appearance - usually made up of the letters of a phrase, or angles signifying letters assigned to specific angles of a circle (ie. the Rose Crucis).

The essential nature of a Sigil is that it is the actual substantial suchness of the Thing, Being and/or Power represented by the Sigil.  Thus, Sigils are somewhat akin to - yet different in action from - the Ve
ves of Voodoo, as well as the Symbols of Reiki.

According to the Necronomicon book, the ARRA AGGA and BANDAR Sigils combined - which becomes the Sigil known as "Necromicon" - together constitute the most powerful Sigil of Power and Protection ever given to, and known in the history of, mankind.

Protection from whom?

There are beings, the oldest of the oldest, primeval forces personified - the Ancient Ones - one race of which, the malevolent creatures of nightmares and psychotic terrors, who had diabolic rulership over the Earth in the unimaginable beginning of Time itself.  They came, possibly lured by the naturally cataclysmic environment of Earth's birth: volcanic eruptions, raging seas, upheavals of gigantic teutonic plates, excessive floods, and so on. 

They battled with their virtuous counterparts - also Ancient Ones (in Sumarian, the ANUNNAKI =  "Those Who From Heaven Came To Earth")  - 49 of  whom were lead by one named Marduk and, after unimaginable millenniums of wars, they were overcome and locked inside Oceanic Depths and Other-Dimensional Prisons, where they lay in a kind of death-sleep, dreaming of a new day.  

They dream of a day when they can break free of their sluggish confinement and, forcing the Gateway open somehow - retake the Earth, ridding themselves of  us - the pesky human race.

It is the benevolent Ancient Ones who endeavor to help us keep that Gate closed, protecting us - even though we don't know it (or are too afraid to even begin to imagine it ... for, you see, even the kindly Ancient Ones often appear monstrous to our limited vision).

One period in which that Gateway was just - barely - opened happened over a half-century ago in Germany - as I'll describe, just a few paragraphs from now ...  

Regarding the Sigils pictured at the beginning of this Thesis, the Necronomicon states: "Of the three individual Sigils, the first is the 'Sign of Our Race from beyond the Stars' and is called ARRA in the tongue of the Scribe who taught it to me, an emissary of the Elder Ones. In the tongue of the eldest city of Babylon, it was UR. It is the Sigil of the Covenant of the Elder Gods, and when they see it, they who gave it to us, they will not forget us. They have sworn!  Spirit of the Skies, Remember!"

The above passage describes the first of the Three Seals of Masshu (the place where they were discovered, inscribed on a stone), the ARRA, said to be the "Sign of our Race from beyond the Stars" ... the Elders - the benign Ancient Ones.


In Voodou, such personages are known
as the "Root (original) Lwa".  

H.P. Lovecraft - the Father of Gothic Horror -  was the author of a number of loosely connected stories which have evolved into a kind of cannon known as the Cthulhu Mythosthe name actually penned by Lovecraft in his short story, The Call of Cthulhu.

Cthulhu was "kuh-lull' hloo"

Several of these tales allude to a secret Grimoire called the Necronomicon.

The Cthulhu Mythos is Lovecraft’s greatest contribution to supernatural literature of the 20th Century: it is made up of a series of stories that evoke cosmic awe and terror through their accounts of the incomprehensibly alien monsters - the Ancients - and their horrifying incursions into our world.  

As talented the writer he was - being a product of his time - he was also a raging (yet socially acceptable in many sectors of society) racist.  

And it's his racism that got in his own way ...

His writing include statements that a modern-day "cult" still worshiping the well-intentioned  Ancient Ones is New Orleans Voodoo.  

At that time, Voodoo was even more maligned as a diabolic "cult" than it is today.  

Lovecraft was almost correct.  But, as they say in Horseshoes, almost doesn't count.  So his analysis was off by a hair's-width or a mile ... either way he was wrong.

The believers who live the religion of New Orleans Voodoo do worship and serve Ancient Beings, called Lwa (l'wah).  But they are not akin to  Lovecraft's "Monstrous Ancients" but to the Benign Ancients, the ANUNNAKI - whose greatest joy is in helping us to be safe, sane, happy and productive.

The difference in names, appearances and behaviors between the Lwa of Voodoo and the Ancient Ones in the Necronomicon aren't necessarily lines of division - they can be interpreted as indications of the creative nature of the Spirits.

Yet it was one of these "almost right" references of Lovecraft's that gave me the thin, yet substantial thread connecting my abiding  interest in the Magicks of the Necronomicon and those of Voodou.

The ARRA Sigil is more popularly (and not so popularly in some circles) known throughout  history as the Pentagram. The word Pentagram derives its origin in the Greek term pentagrammon, a noun-form of the word pentagrammos, meaning "five lines." 



The Pentagram is one of the most recognized occult symbols in the world. 

The first known recorded uses of the Pentagram are in Mesopotamian writings dating to about 3000 BC. The Sumerian pentagram served as a pictogram for the word UB or AR, which meant ‘corner’ or ‘angle.’ It was also known to the ancient peoples of Mesopotamia as the Plough Sign. 

The Chart of Comparisons, found in the Necronomicon introduction, defines the ARRA symbol as the "Plough Sign, the original pentagram, and the sign of the Aryan Race." 

The ‘Plough’ is usually referred to as the "Big Dipper". 

Yet the Necronomicon makes reference to the "Plough Sign."  This possibly indicates that the Big Dipper itself makes a certain Sign (Symbol) during its movements throughout the year. 


(Now hang in, and be patient - it's going be a proverbial "bumpy ride" for a little while, here.)



Viewing the Big Dipper and its rotation around the North Star (Polaris), it appears to form the Sign known as the Swastika.

Now, "Swastika" is Sanskrit, the original language of India, and means "auspiciousness."  Depending on the direction in which the Swastika faces, it represents either the Sun or the Moon.  In this case, it would be the "Sun" Swastika.

Along with the Om symbol, it is a most revered symbol in Vedic religious culture.

Unfortunately, Adolph  Hitler co-opted the  Swastika.  And by turning it 1/4 turn Clockwise, it became a Sigil of Chaos, perverting the true spiritual nature of the correct Vedic Sigil, which is freedom, goodness, joy and enlightement. 

It's a well-known fact that Hitler was heavily into occultism and, finding the Vedic literatures referring to the Swastika as a "Sign of the Sun" and therefore a symbol of the "Aryan" race, he also co-opted and perverted that (actually benign and positive) Sanskrit word in the same literatures - Aryan - as referring to what he believed is the "superior race" - "pure blood" white folks. 


This was his excuse for the real horror ...
the insane horror of the Holocaust. 
 Spirit of the Earth, never forget! 
Spirit of the Sky, never forget!

But "Aryan" is actually also a Sanskrit word that simply means "Good" and "Spiritual."  

It describes ALL people who are moral and spiritual - without regard to one's racial heratige.  It also includes people of any social status "caste"), gender, orientation and religion. Vedic spirituality holds the belief that we - all people -  are of Divine Origin.

Calling the Pentagram ARRA, the Chart of Comparisons in the Necronomicon refers to the five pointed star as being the sign of the Covenant of the "Aryan" Race" - the term being  applied in the true Vedic sense.

The Necronomicon says the ARRA Sigil is a "sign (Covenant) of our race from beyond the stars."  This passage indicates that those who are represented by the next Sigil, the ARRA, the Annunaki, are of Divine Origin.  The Covenant was made with us, the human beings (also - in our natural state - "Aryan") at the beginning of our Earthly career.





AGGA is the designation of the Elder Ones: as they stand in protection of humankind from the sleeping, monstrous Ancient Ones.

The AGGA are independently powerful on their own, but exponentially more powerful when conjoined with ARRA, the essential living nature of the Covenant.  

Similarly we, also Covenors are joined by that Covenant with the Elders - and we can access this enormous volume of power by joining their two Sigils together.





The BANDAR - known as the Watchers - are the Observers of That which is Watched.  

According to the Necromicon, the BANDAR were sent to Earth by the AGGA, the Elder Ones acting in their capacity as protectors between the monstrous Ancient Ones and humankind.  

Other than watching over us as we sleep, the Bandar power are only usefully available in relation to ARRA, and AGGA, individually or together. 

The Necromicon warns that - due to their not fully independent nature - the BALDAR must now be invoked alone.  Doing so can result in the most chaotic of consequences.

Thus it has been said:  When combined as one, the Sigils of ARRA, AGGA and BANDAR become that single most energetically powerful force known on Earth ... the Sigil called Necronomicon.

 Addendum
Duane W. Rime, an American Science Fiction and Fantasy author, once asked his mentor, H.P. Lovecraft how to pronounce "Cthulhu."  

Lovecraft replied that the pronunciation is Khlul'-hloo, and said "the first syllable pronouned gutturally and very thickly.  The is about like that in the word "full"; and the first syllable is not unlike klul in sound, hence the h represents the guttural thickness.

The Circle of Magick

~ Casting The Magick Circle ~
 With Elemental Watchtowers


Introduction:
The Circle of Magick acts as both a protective shield and an enclosed setting for Magick to be enacted in a condensed form then released into the very fabric of Reality.

I originally learned the rudiments of simple Circle-casting when I was involved in Witchcraft, in my late teens.  

Over the years, I've picked up additional ideas and processes and the procedure has evolved into the intricate, exceptionally powerful process I perform nowadays, with excellent results.

One essential Law of Magick I have consistently experienced is that Clockwise movements actualize Magickal Intention into a substantial state of Manifestation ... while Counterclockwise  movements shift such Manifestations back into the dormant state of Potentiality.  This is a consistent trend in all my Magickal procedures.



Like many Witches, Wiccans, Wizards & Sorcerers, I most often cast the Circle on the floor or ground large enough to comfortably  contain an Altar, impliments, and however many persons will be occupying the space - 6, 9, 12 up to 15 or even as large as 21 feet, as is sufficient. 

It helps greatly to mark-out the chosen diameter of the circle on the floor.  Some crafty folks make a circle about 5 inches wide with fabric.  Others mark the floor with chalk.  


I prefer keeping it simple, marking the four directions - indicating the area for each of the Elemental Watchtowers - with rocks.   I then delineate the curve of the Circle with three smaller stones between each of the directional rocks.

(Sometimes I cast a Circle around just the Magickal Work positioned on a table or other surface.)

Then, using a checklist written sometime  beforehand, I place whatever Altar-surface I've chosen, and all the needed items for the SpellWorks planned, neatly arranged in the space inside the Circle.

It's my experience that Casting the Magickal Circle creates a sphere, with the Circle cast being the diameter that sphere, which extends above and below that diameterical boundry.



Residing in the northern hemisphere, I always begin Circle Casting in the Northern Direction, taking advantage of the strong electro-magnetic energy-currents flowing down from magnetic North Pole. 

I then face the appropriate Elemental direction casting Spells.

Pentagrams and Sigils


Whilst Casting the Circle, as I compose the Elemental Watchtowers, I embed simple but highly powerful Sigils into the Pentagrams - that inherently contain and manifest the Magickal Essence of each Element. 

These Sigils are based on a dream I had of them, and were developed through on my training and experience working in the Vedic Chakra science called Chakra Agni Tattva Vidya which I learned from Hariakhan Baba in my mid 20s, as well as my years pursuing Reiki and other forms of Vibrational Healing.


I've also included herein, the procedures for Opening and Closing Doorways in the Circle,   affording the Magkian the opportunity to exit and  re-enter the Circle whenever necessary.

Casting can be done with your hand, or Tool such as a Wand or an Athame.

These instructions are for Casting a Circle on the Floor or Ground.  You can Cast a Circle on a table, by modifying these instructions accordingly. Also, "Tool" refers to a Wand or Athame.


Stand facing North - an arm's length behind the intended perimeter of the Circle.
Using your Hand/Tool, draw/Visualize the Purple Invoking Pentagram of Spirit.


Draw/Visualize the Purple Spirit Invoking Sigil inside the Center of the Active Spirit Pentagram.

The Left Loop is of Spirit, 
the Right Loop is Materiality.



Draw/Visualize the Green Earth Element Invoking Sigil over the Purple Spirit Invoking Sigil just drawn.


Draw/Visualize the Green Invoking Pentagram 
of the Earth Element over the Purple Spirit Pentagram already in place, while intoning 
the Northern Watchtower of Earth
Invocation Charm.




Turn Hand/Tool down pointing to the place where the Circle continues on floor/ground.
Moving backwards to East, draw/visualize a line of Electric-Blue Fire manifesting 1/4th of the Circle from North to East, with Hand/Tool.

Facing East, raise Hand/Tool upward, pointing outward to East.


Draw/Visualize the Purple Invoking
Pentagram of Spirit.

Draw/Visualize the Purple Spirit Invoking Sigil
inside the Center of the Active Spirit Pentagram.
The Left Loop is of Spirit,
the Right Loop is Materiality.


Draw/Visualize the Yellow Air Element Invoking Sigil over the Spirit Invoking Sigil just drawn.

Draw/Visualize the Yellow Invoking Pentagram
of the Air Element Clockwise over the Purple
Spirit Invoking Pentagram already in place, while intoning the Eastern Watchtower of
Air Invocation Charm.

Turn Hand/Tool down pointing to the place where the Circle will continue on floor/ground.

Moving backwards to South, draw/visualize a line of Electric-Blue Fire manifesting 1/4th of the Circle from East to South from Hand/Tool.

Facing South, raise Hand/Tool upward, pointing outward to South.

Draw/Visualize the Purple Spirit Invoking Sigil

Draw/Visualize the Red Fire Element Invoking Sigil over the Spirit Invoking Sigil just drawn.

Draw/Visualize the Red Invoking Pentagram
of the Fire Element over the Purple
Active Spirit Pentagram while intoning the
Southern Watchtower of Fire Invocation Charm.


Turn Hand/Tool down pointing to the place where the Circle will continue on floor/ground/surface.

Moving backwards to West, draw/visualize a line of Electric-Blue Fire manifesting 1/4th of the Circle from South to West, with Hand/Tool.

Facing West, raise Hand/Tool upward, pointing outward toward West. 


Draw/Visualize the Purple Invoking
Pentagram of Spirit.


Draw/Visualize the Purple Spirit Invoking Sigil
inside the Center of the Spirit Pentagram.
The Left Loop is of Spirit,
the Right Loop is Materiality.


Draw/Visualize the Blue Water 
Element Invoking Sigil over the
Spirit Invoking Sigil just drawn.

Draw/Visualize the Blue Invoking Pentagram
of the Water Element 
over the Purple 
Spirit Pentagram already in place while 
intoning the Western Watchtower 
of Water Invocation Charm.


Turn Hand/Tool down pointing to the place where the Circle will continue on floor/ground/surface.

Moving backwards to North, draw/visualize a line of Electric-Blue Fire manifestding 1/4th of the Circle from West to North, completing the Circle.

Releasing the Magick Circle ~

Releasing the Magick Circle both allows the power of the Spells cast within it to fully permeate the fabric of Manifest Reality, while allowing the Elemental Watchtower Powers to return to their natural other-dimensional place.

The process is essentially the same as Casting the Magick Circle, but in reverse.

Stand facing North - at arm's length behind the Circle's perimeter.

Raise Hand/Tool upward, pointing outward to North. 


Draw the Releasing Pentagram of the Earth Element, visualizing the Green lines
of the Pentagram disappearing back into
the Hand/Tool while intoning
the Northern Watchtower of Earth
Releasing Charm.

Draw the Earth Element Releasing Sigil laying over the still-existing Purple Spirit Sigil, visualizing the lines of this Sigil disappearing back into Hand/Tool.



Draw the Spirit Releasing Sigil inside the Center of the still-existing Purple Spirit Pentagram visualizing the lines of the Sigil 
disappearing back into Hand/Tool.
The Right Loop is Materiality, 
The Left Loop is of Spirit.
Draw the Releasing Pentagram of Spirit, visualizing the Purple lines of the 
Pentagram disappearing into the Hand/Tool.


Turn Hand/Tool down pointing to the place where the Circle was completed on floor/ground.
With Hand/Tool pointing down, move backwards to West, visualize the Circle's line of Electric-Blue Fire disappearing as if being drawn back into the Hand/Tool. 

Facing West, raise Hand/Tool upward, pointing outward to West. 


Draw the Releasing Pentagram of the Water Element, visualizing the Blue lines of the Pentagram disappearing back into the 
Hand/Tool while intoning the Northern Watchtower of Earth Releasing Charm.



Draw the Water Element Releasing Sigil,
laying over the still-existing Purple Spirit Sigil, visualizing the lines of this Sigil disappearing back into Hand/Tool.





Draw the Spirit Releasing Sigil inside the Center of the still-existing Purple Spirit Pentagram visualizing  the lines of the Sigil 
disappearing back into Hand/Tool.
The Right Loop is Materiality, 
The Left Loop is of Spirit.
Draw the Releasing Pentagram of Spirit, visualizing the lines of the Pentagram disappearing back into the Hand/Tool.


Turn Hand/Tool pointing down, and move backwards to South, visualizing the Circle's line of Electric-Blue Fire disappearing as if being drawn back into the Hand/Tool.

Draw the Fire Element Releasing Sigil laying over the still-existing Purple Spirit Sigil, visualizing the lines of this Sigil 
disappearing back into Hand/Tool.


Draw the Spirit Releasing Sigil inside the 
Center of the still-existing Purple Spirit Pentagram visualizing the lines of the Sigil disappearing back into Hand/Tool.
The Right Loop is Materiality,
The Left Loop is of Spirit.

Draw the Releasing Pentagram of  Spirit, visualizing the lines of the Pentagram disappearing back into the Hand/Tool.


Turn Hand/Tool pointing down, and move backwards to East, visualizing the Circle's line of Electric-Blue Fire disappearing as if being drawn back into the Hand/Tool.

Facing East, raise Hand/Tool upward, pointing outward to East. 


Draw the Releasing Pentagram of the Air Element Counterclockwise, visualizing 
the lines of the Pentagram disappearing 
back into the Hand/Tool while intoning the Eastern Watchtower of Air Releasing Charm.



Draw the Air Element Releasing Sigil laying 
over the Still-existing Purple Spirit Sigil, visualizing the lineof the Sigil disappearing 
back into Hand/Tool.



Draw the Spirit Releasing Sigil inside the 
Center of the still-existing Purple Spirit Pentagram visualizing  the lines of the 
Sigil disappearing back into Hand/Tool.
The Right Loop is Materiality, 
The Left Loop is of Spirit.
Draw the Releasing Pentagram of Spirit, visualizing the lines of the Pentagram disappearing back into the Hand/Tool.



Turn Hand/Tool pointing down, and move backwards to North, where the Circle was first begun, visualizing the Circle's line of Electric-Blue Fire disappearing as if being drawn back into the Hand/Tool. The Circle & Elemental Watchtowers are now Released.

Creating Doorways for Exiting 
and Re-entering the Circle

Stuff happens, despite our best planning and preparation.  There will be times when you realize a need to go outside the Circle, but are not ready to Release the Circle altogether.
This is my tried & true method of Opening & Closing a Doorway in the Circle.




Exiting The Circle

Be sure you are not creating a Doorway in the place where an Elemental Watchtower stands...


Using your Hand or Tool,draw a line into a portion of the Circle as indicated by number 1,
visualizing the electric-blue Fire disappearing back into the Hand/Tool.
This movement is counterclockwise, the same direction you follow when Releasing the Circle.

Then continue by drawing an archway 
as indicated by number 2.
This movement is Clockwise, thus actively 
cutting an opening into the Vertical Energetic Wall that extends upward from the Circle.


Quickly step through the Doorway and Immediately Close the Doorway as indicated below ...


Using your Hand or Tool, draw a line into the now missing portion of the Circle as indicated
by number 1, visualizing the electric-blue
Fire reconnecting and Completing the Circle.
This movement is clockwise, the same direction
you follow when Casting the Circle.

Then continue by drawing an archway 
as indicated by number 2
This movement is Counterclockwise, thus disappearing the Archway opening in the 
Vertical Energetic Wall that extends 
upward from the Circle.



Congratulations - you have Magically 
exited the Circle while maintaining
its Energetic integrity!



Re-entering The Circle



To Re-enter the Circle, use your Hand or Tool to draw a line into a portion of the Circle as indicated by number 1, visualizing the electric-blue Fire disappearing back into the Hand/Tool.
This movement is counterclockwise, the same direction you follow when Releasing the Circle.

Then continue by cutting an archway into the Vertical Energetic "Wall" that extends upward from the Circle, as indicated by number 2.
This movement is Clockwise, thus actively 
cutting an opening into the Vertical Energetic Wall that extends upward from the Circle.


Quickly step through the Doorway and Immediately Close the Doorway as indicated below ...


Using your Hand or Tool, draw a line into that now missing portion of the Circle as indicated 
by number 1, visualizing the electric-blue 
Fire filling-in and reconnecting and 
Completing the Circle.
This movement is clockwise, the same direction
you follow when Casting the Circle

Then continue by drawing an archway 

as indicated by number 2

This movement is Counterclockwise, thus disappearing the Archway opening in the 
Vertical Energetic Wall that extends 
upward from the Circle.



Congratulations - you have Magically 
re-entered the Circle while maintaining
its Energetic integrity!
